1 Day Mount Bisoke Crater Climbing Overview
Despite Mount Bisoke not being too difficult to climb, you need to be in good shape, and your physical fitness level should be high.
In the morning, our tour guide will pick you up from your accommodation and transfer you to Musanze.
You must arrive at the park offices by 7:00 AM for the morning briefing meeting. During this meeting, you will be guided on the rules and regulations to follow during the hike.
From there, your guide will drive you to the Bisoke trailhead. Make sure you have your hiking gear and some energy snacks ready for the hike.
You will then begin your hike with some porters, have lunch at the summit next to the crater, and return to the starting point to meet your guide.
Afterward, you will be transferred to Kigali International Airport or any hotel around the city for drop-off.
The Mount Bisoke crater hike usually lasts 7 to 9 hours, depending on how quickly you ascend and descend the mountain.
