Detailed Kenya Group Tours Itinerary

Day 1: Depart Nairobi for Masai Mara National Reserve

At the agreed time, our seasoned guide will pick you from either Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or hotel and then drive you in a nice vehicle that will enable you view game along the way up to Masai Mara game reserve.

Having reached Masai Mara, you are given three to four hours of rest after signing into a lodge of your choice.

After relaxation, take part in the evening game drive that kicks off at 3:00pm.

Professional rangers will guide you through Masai Mara’s ever changing terrain as you land on wildlife hotspots and taking photos in the beautiful scenery of this reserve.

During this venture, you cannot fail to see at least two if not all of the big five in addition to other animals such as hyenas and numerous antelopes.

Day 2: Balloon rides and game drive experience

Everyone’s idea of perfect at Masai Mara are remarkable scenery; something that you get on the second day of this mighty expedition.

At dawn take part in the hot air balloon adventure and fly over stunning grasslands of the reserve.

The expedition kicks off as soon as coffee and briefing are done.

It provides you an opportunity of viewing Masai Mara’s birds, lush green vegetation, and tremendous plains and meandering rivers at an angle of 3600   you get to see a number of wild animals such as hyenas, lions, leopards and elephants.

Day 3: Masai Mara – Full day game drive and optional cultural tour

Take a pre-dawn game drive out to the wild in search of evergreen pastures immediately after a delicious breakfast.

In the expedition, you will meet an ambush of hyenas dinning on the lion’s leftovers as well as magical morning springs of gazelles within the grasses.

It is on this day that you discover some of the animals that you could have missed the previous day.

The area’s atmosphere is beautified by the frequent trumpets of roaring lions and elephants.

Other animals visible in the area include; bat-eared fox, black-stripped baboons, impalas, reedbucks, among others.

Before heading for cultural experiences in the later hours make a retreat to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.

In the event you are done with relaxation and lunch, embark on the Masai cultural experience; a moment of learning from these hospitable people as they make beads and exhibit their century old customs.

Day 4: Masai Mara to Diani beach by flight

As soon as you get done with having breakfast, embark on a one hour and fifteen minute flight to Ukunda airport (Kwale County) from Angama Mara airstrip.

You will then drive to Diani beach for five minutes.

When we talk of Diani beach, we are talking of the best beach in Africa that has been nominated for six years in a row according to World Travel Awards.

In addition to its ambiance, landscape and scenery, we are talking of deep blue waters and spectacular coastline.

You will check in to the lodge or resort upon arrival at Diani beach and have relaxation for two hours before taking part in the beach experience in coming hours.

Day 5: Diani beach to Wasini Island

Stunning coral gardens best explored by nature walks lie on the western end of the five kilometer Wasini Island.

After a sundown dinner, retreat to Diani beach for a night.

Day 6: Diani beach

Day 7 – Diani to Nairobi / Departure
